We have a doctors appointment today! They should be measuring and hopefully we'll get some more pictures of our girls. I'm thinking about our girls and how I would love to take them to some of the all time loved plays of our time. When I was in London one summer during college I was able to go see "Mary Poppins" and it was so wonderful! Some of you have heard the story of how I went alone, sat among children I didn't know up on the balcony and at the end ( as you can see in the video) Mary Poppins actually flies up over the audience with her umbrella in hand waving at all of us. I happened to be in the area where she was flying to so as she approaches I'm waving and of course...crying. It was such a wonderful experience and quite funny now that I look back at it :)

Favorite musical moments...
So maybe I'm the only one who cries when I watch musicals....whether it be a movie musical or on stage there is something about people singing and dancing together that pulls on my heart and the tears start flowing. So as I was watching one of my favorites "Hello Dolly" the other day the usual tears began to come during my favorite song "Put on your Sunday Clothes" and I began to wonder...will our girls share the same passion I have for musicals?? I hope so! I'll post some of my other crying scenes for you later.
23 weeks! Hello 6th month...
23 weeks! We have officially entered into our 6th month. Crazy that we only have 14 week left. Our little girls are growing so much. Two butternut squashes are inside my belly! Pretty crazy. We have a doctors appointment this Wed. where they should be measuring again. With the cribs in their room and their consistent kicking it's been such a fun couple of weeks! We can't wait to meet the little ones! I'm feeling good. I can feel the weight which is starting to affect my back after I stand for a while...which they say only gets worse :(...but I have a great appetite..loving honey crisp apples, bananas, chicken, chili, walnuts, orange juice and rainbow sherbet! More update on Wed!
Georgia fun!

As promised here are some pictures from the weekend in Colquitt, GA. We had such a great time with Patty Cake and Papa and with my cousin AJ and his wife Allie. We ate peanuts, shot guns, laughed and ate and ate and ate! We had so much fun! Here are just a few pictures from the weekend.

Congrats Lindsey and Marshall!
We had so much fun this past Friday celebrating with my lifelong friend Lindsey Parker as she got engaged to the wonderful Marshall Davis! He surprised her by coming in town and proposing at the beautiful Duke Gardens and then bringing her to the local Chick-fil-a where all her friends and family were waiting to celebrate. It was such a sweet time and we are so so happy for them and can't wait for the special day! It's been so fun to watch the Lord work as he's brought the two of them together in such a sweet way! Yah for marriage! We are so excited for you guys!

22 weeks!
We are a little over 22 weeks and loving feeling our little girls move! They are so active and we can actually see my belly move up and down when they are kicking. It's so fun! Here's a little inside info from babycenter.com on what's going on this week with the girls.
How your baby's growing:
"At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your babies are starting to look like miniature newborns. Their lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and they are even developing tiny tooth buds beneath their gums. Their eyes have formed, but their irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers the body and the deep wrinkles on the skin, which they'll sport until they add a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside their bellies, the pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — are developing steadily."10.24.2009
2 cribs!
We went today and picked up the cribs! They are white and so so pretty! Sweet James put them together and it didn't take long at all. Now we just have to figure out exactly how we want to set up the room. Here's a little preview of what I'm thinking as far as decor goes. I love the bedding set above from Target and talked about it on my Simple Eye blog. I'm thinking we'll use the polka dot sheet like the bottom image. I'm still liking yellow and hoping it will work out to throw some splashes of it in there somewhere (rug, lamp, pillows, etc) It totally feels so real..we are having two little girls!
