We had a great time last weekend with James' family taking picture for Christmas cards at the rose garden in Raleigh. This was such a great one of him and his brothers I just had to post it! We should have some more baby updates soon. We have an appointment tomorrow morning!

Snapshots from the womb!
Finally we have some pictures of our girls. These are from our last appointment at 24 weeks. Baby A is on the right and Baby B is on the left. It was so amazing and they are so beautiful. In case you are wondering about Baby A and the umbilical cord around her neck...they say that's completely normal and there's no way they can be strangled by it in the womb! We think it looks like a scarf :) It's amazing that we can see there eyes and nose and lips and little fingers and toes. They were moving around a lot in these pictures so it was hard for the nurse to capture them without getting some black looking holes around their heads. Over the next month they are supposed to start really putting on weight and putting on some fat. Last night was the first time I looked down and saw my belly moving up and down from one side to the other. It was pretty crazy. They must have been doing flips like you do in the pool with a friend :) Please continue to pray for our girls health and growth during these last couple of months. Words can't describe how thankful we are that everything is going well and that they are growing healthy and strong. Our God is so good and merciful and we know we are so undeserving of such blessings.

24.5 weeks!
Hello everyone. Here we are at 24.5 weeks. We had our doctors appointment this past Wednesday and everything is looking great! We are so thankful! The girls are weighing in at 1 lb 7oz for Baby A and 1 lb 9oz for Baby B. Their mamma is weighing in at 145...gained a whole 27 lbs which I am really starting to feel on my back! They were moving so much during the ultrasound, it was so fun to see them. The doctors are starting to see us every two weeks now which is a lot of fun:) I'm feeling pretty good. More back pain than ever this week and still having some trouble sleeping. I get up many times to use the bathroom during the night which isn't fun but I know it's God way of preparing me for waking up when the girls come:) I'm still loving food...I completely clean my plate and who ever has left overs when we are at restaurants and am constantly eating pretzels, cereal and fruit. Trying to drink lots of fluids knowing how important that is and rest whenever I can. Energy level is pretty high though, wanting to fix up the nursery and start a long list of projects I've been making. We are really excited about the holidays coming and once again can't wait to meet these girls! More updates to come!

"Lets go fly a kite"
We have a doctors appointment today! They should be measuring and hopefully we'll get some more pictures of our girls. I'm thinking about our girls and how I would love to take them to some of the all time loved plays of our time. When I was in London one summer during college I was able to go see "Mary Poppins" and it was so wonderful! Some of you have heard the story of how I went alone, sat among children I didn't know up on the balcony and at the end ( as you can see in the video) Mary Poppins actually flies up over the audience with her umbrella in hand waving at all of us. I happened to be in the area where she was flying to so as she approaches I'm waving and of course...crying. It was such a wonderful experience and quite funny now that I look back at it :)

Favorite musical moments...
So maybe I'm the only one who cries when I watch musicals....whether it be a movie musical or on stage there is something about people singing and dancing together that pulls on my heart and the tears start flowing. So as I was watching one of my favorites "Hello Dolly" the other day the usual tears began to come during my favorite song "Put on your Sunday Clothes" and I began to wonder...will our girls share the same passion I have for musicals?? I hope so! I'll post some of my other crying scenes for you later.
23 weeks! Hello 6th month...
23 weeks! We have officially entered into our 6th month. Crazy that we only have 14 week left. Our little girls are growing so much. Two butternut squashes are inside my belly! Pretty crazy. We have a doctors appointment this Wed. where they should be measuring again. With the cribs in their room and their consistent kicking it's been such a fun couple of weeks! We can't wait to meet the little ones! I'm feeling good. I can feel the weight which is starting to affect my back after I stand for a while...which they say only gets worse :(...but I have a great appetite..loving honey crisp apples, bananas, chicken, chili, walnuts, orange juice and rainbow sherbet! More update on Wed!
Georgia fun!

As promised here are some pictures from the weekend in Colquitt, GA. We had such a great time with Patty Cake and Papa and with my cousin AJ and his wife Allie. We ate peanuts, shot guns, laughed and ate and ate and ate! We had so much fun! Here are just a few pictures from the weekend.
