I'm dreaming of a white Christmas...

Sorry we are the worst bloggers ever. We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their December as we anxiously await the celebration of the birth of our Savior! It's hard to believe it's almost a week away. The Childs home has been busy busy. I feel like every weekend we've had something which is why we've neglected to keep everyone updated. :( sorry! We have some fun pictures we need to post and will have even more after this weekend! We had a great Thanksgiving with the Childs family up at Smith Mountain Lake. They rented a cabin and we all went up and had a great time relaxing and hanging out together. And now we are leaving this afternoon to go to Nashville to see the concert "Behold the Lamb of God." For those of you who don't know, James and I love Nashville and hope one day to reside there...so this will be a fun time to get to know the area a little better. Last time we were there we drove up to have our engagement pictures which we now have all of as well as our wedding pictures. So maybe some time we'll post some wedding and engagement pictures that weren't on the slide show. And once we get back from Nashville it's off to Florida for Christmas! This is our first Christmas married which so far has been a blast. We had a lot of fun decorating our small apartment and embarking on the mission to find a Christmas Tree. We finally found one on craigslist for $15! It's fake but is 5.5 ft and looks beautiful in our eyes! If you're wondering why I posted the picture it's because one day I hope to decorate like her for Christmas! I love the whites and creams with the simple garland! Stunning! So anyways..definitely the longest post we've had but just a little update. Hope all is well and hopefully you'll be hearing from us no later than next week! Much Love-
