Our first snow day in forever! I think our sophomore year was the last time I saw so much snow. James and I both got to stay home from work and watch movies and enjoy watching the beautiful snow fall outside! I just might have woke James up at 8 am to come out on our porch with me to play in the snow. He wasn't as excited as I was so he decided to just take pictures of me in the snow:) A little after this he went in a made a wonderful fire that we enjoyed all the day long. What a fun day.

David and Shannon!
Words can't express our joy as some of our best friends moved to Raleigh a couple of weeks ago. David and Shannon just recently got married this past summer and met and went to school in Chicago. James grew up with David and you may remember him as James' best man at our wedding. They are so great and so amazing and we couldn't feel more blessed to have them so close! They were so sweet to have us over to their new place the other night and time just flew by...before we knew it we looked at the clock and it was half past
12am! We love you guys so much and are so glad you're here!
Oh Christmas Tree I hate to see you leave
So now that Christmas is over I thought I would finally post a few pictures of our lovely $15 tree we bought off craigslist. It's our first tree and we love it dearly. I finally took down all the Christmas decorations but left up the twinkle lights on our mantle. I just love them at night! And to be honest, it feels more like Christmas now that it's freezing cold. We built our first fire last night, and for those of you who knew about our first attempt, this one did not end in an apartment full of smoke. It was an amazing fire that James made which we enjoyed while watching what must be one of my favorite childhood movies, Hook. It's such a great movie! I don't think James realized that growing up we watched that movie, maybe once a week which resulted in me reciting a lot of lines throughout...which I know is super annoying, but I don't think he minded too much:)

Christmas fun!
What a wonderful Christmas! We had so much fun over Christmas Break in Florida and Atlanta. The weather was unbelievable in Florida. It felt like spring break. So relaxing and great time with family. We headed up to Atlanta for a couple of days after Christmas and went to the zoo and saw some movies and hung out with Omi Omi and the cousins (sadly not all the cousins :( ) But here we are reenacting a picture taken a couple of years ago where we lift Omi right after eating at a fun breakfast place down the street from her condo. Once I get some pictures from Mattie I'll post some more of our Christmas vacation! Hope everyone had a great one!
